H4 Visa renewal

Hi,

Just a quick question. I am currently on H1B visa with approval till Aug 2010Edi. My wife was here in US on H4 visa with stamped visa that is expiring on Sep 30th 2007. The difference is because I had switched jobs after she got here. Currently my wife is in India and planning to get her H4 visa stamped for the new dates. So, my question is: Do I have to get H4 approval from INS for my wife before she goes for stamping?

------------------------NO, She need to get H4 VISA stamp based on your latest H1 approval validity from US consulate in India

I think you have H1 Transfer or Extension approval beyond Aug 2007 and If that is correct your then she should go to US consulate and need H4 visa stamp
