I(on H1B visa) am planning to get married in end of August this year and planning come back in mid September. I am planning to attend Chennai consulate for H1B visa extension. I have got the new I797 and I am all set to go for the stamping.
I am also planning to take my wife for stamping along with me, but she might not come with me until December this year as she wants to try for L1 visa from her current company.
Can anyone please advise if a H4 person(not entered USA yet) can go for L1 stamping in India and will her H4 get cancelled once her L1 gets stamped?
