H4 to H1

My wife came here on H4 4 years back and recently she got her H1 done from some employer. She applied and got an SSN. She has not started working yet. Would there be any problems with her status? If she doesn't get a job and if she goes to India for a visit, would she be able to come here back on H4? Also would there be any problems when I file tax returns next year and she is still not working?

Status wise she will be in trouble only if she attempts to do a H1 transfer or other BCIS application. The status can be reset to H4 by going out of USA and coming back in using H4.
IRS is a different department.
 
Thanks a lot Jaxen, regarding tax filing if she has an SSN and doesn't have an income when I file the tax returns next year, as she got the SSN with her H1, would there be a problem?
