H4 to H1

Hi,

I am currently residing at denver on a H4. Can someone please guide me regarding how to apply for a H1? (I am informed tht the current year quota is over and tht i can apply only in April 2007.)

Can someone please suggest me any possible courses tht i can take up in the meantime which will put me in a better position of getting a H1?

The best you can do now is finding employer who is willing to file your H1 in April 07.

hey just look out for the current technolgy in your place if u r not willing to relocate anywhere else.. in case u r a s/w engineer take up a good certification course..This i am suggesting from my personal exp last yr. i tried filing my H1 last yr but quota got over.then i took up MCSD and this helped me find a suitable consultant this yr who filed my h1b...
