guys,

Sorry for posting unrelated question. DOing it out of desperation

ANy imputs on H4 to H1 stamping in Toronto.
My friend's wife has to travel to Canada on her new job for a week. No US degree. No prior H-1 stamping in passport.
ANy chances of rejections. If rejected what happens. DO they allow to enter into US or do they send back to India

ANy experience or inputs greatly appreciated

I don't see any reason for rejection. As long as she has an approved H-1B petition and all the papers to support it there shouldn't be any problem.

She should not surrender I-94 while leaving USA. If she is denied H-1B stamping she can always come back on I-94, which presumbaly is good.

Technically, while returning you are supposed to get the new I-94. However, they will allow her to come back on old I-94.

No misleading answers please!

If H1 stamping is rejected, one can only reenter provided that another valid visa stamp is available. Entry by I-94 alone is NOT enough anymore.

Be careful and weigh the options.

Good Luck!
