H4 to H1 Question, Attorneys/Experts please advise

My wife is currently on H4 which is valid till 2009. She got a job and her employer is planning to file for H4 to H1 in premium processing in April which should be approved within 15 days with a start date of Oct 1st. However, I might have to transfer my job in summer (say in June, due to possible job cuts in my company) and will have to file for H1 transfer along with my wife's H4 to keep her in status until her H1 starts in Oct. In that case, what would happen to her already approved H4 to H1 which starts on October 1st. Will the H4 transfer petition filed due to my employer change nullify her H1 approval??

As for as your wife's H4 is valid you no need to transfer along with your H1.
Her H4 belongs to her not your old company, however it depends on your H1 validity.

What do you mean by ”As for as your wife's H4 is valid you no need to transfer along with your H1”?

The question is, "will I have to file for H1 transfer along with my wife's H4 to keep her in status until her H1 starts in Oct?"
