H4 to H1 please help.

Hi,

I am in 7th year H1B extension this year which expires in march 2006.We applied H1B for my wife this year who was in H4 till now. But she is planning to go to India before getting the H1B approval. I am having the some questions please help me out.My questions are:

1.Can she go to India on H4 and return to US on H4 with H4 stamped in India?

2.Can she continue on H1 after returning from India?

3.We are planning to go to Canada to get our H1b and H4 stamped,is that ok??

4.Do we need to get her H1b stamped before she start to work?

5.When do we need to apply for her SSN?

Please reply me .Your help is highly appreciable.

2.Can she continue on H1 after returning from India? If H1 approval comes withn I 94 at the bottom of apprvl notice.
3.We are planning to go to Canada to get our H1b and H4 stamped,is that ok?? Individual preferences.
4.Do we need to get her H1b stamped before she )[/COLOR]
5.When do we need to apply for her SSN? Once you have approval of H1 with I 94.
Please reply me .Your help is highly appreciable.
