H4 to H1 and to H4 issue, Please Help

We do have unique situation, Please Help

I am on H1B and my wife is on H4 and we appliled H1B for my wife and it got query on septmber 20 th and her H4 was going to expire on 29th september 2006, then we panic then we applied H4 extension for 1 year to 29 September 2007.

Mean time after applying H4, her H1 got approved(We didn't get the H1 approval notice Yet)

and Today We are checking USCIS website and came to know that H4 also got approved yesterday.

I do have questions, Please Clarify.

1. Is she on H1B or H4 now

2. Can we ignore H4 and we use H1B and start working.

3. How to convert to the approved H1B

Please suggest.
