H4-H1B, urgent help needed

Hi,
I came to U.S. on H4 visa,then converted in to H1B visa.I travelled to India unexpectedly,i have submitted my H1B visa I-94 also while i went to india.
1.Can i travel back to U.S. on H4 visa which is still valid.
2.or should i get stamped before entering to u.s.

If you come back with your already stamped H 4 visa, you will be only on H4 status and should not work.


Better get H1 visa stamped before re enter US.

1.I m in a great doubt thinking that whether they will allow me into U.S on H4 visa or not (at port of entry ),as i submitted them my new I-94 accompanied with my H1B documents while leaving to india,and also i got my S.S.N before coming to India.I didnot work there thats why i cannot attend H1B stamping here.
2.and also i dont understand what to say,incase if they ask me why i didnot attend stamping of H1B.
Please suggest .

1.I just want to know whether my h4 visa is still valid even after my h1b is approved...will they allow me in to U.S. on my h4 visa.
2.I just want know will there be any problems( if i go to U.S on my H4 which is still valid),as i submitted my I-94 accompanied with my H1b documents,while leaving U.S,and also i got my S.S.N before leaving U.S.
