h4 for infants

hello

my friend has a important question....., she is on h4 visa and has gone to india for delivary, she wants to book appt for kid but it asks for passport number so only after getting the passport she can book? since taknig long time to get appointment......, or for infants is it important to go for interview.......or there is drop box facility or by mail facility in chennai consulate..., kindly help she in confusion

Separate pp , application and photo are mandatory to get H4 visa for babies

since taknig long time to get appointment......, or for infants is it important to go for interview.......or there is drop box facility or by mail facility in chennai consulate..., kindly help she in confusion
