I am from India, but got my H4 visa stamped in Bahrain in 2001. Within one and half years I changed my visa status to F1 and thereafter to H1-B. For the last two years I am on a H1-B status. None of my visa's has been stamped in India as I did not go out of the US. I have to go to India in 2007 and I am wondering if there would be any problems getting my H1-B stamped. Is there anyone who has gone through similar situation and can shed some light on thier experience in obtaining first time H1-B.

Thanks

All your credentials (degree certificate/experience etc) will be verified in India, if everything OK from your side no need to worry. However you may expect delays if there is a administrative verification. Get prepared for everything.
