Applied for H4 extension for my wife. She already got her EAD, but not worked until now.

My question is, if she gets a job now, will it affect her H4 extn. application. Becos, in the application, she said she never worked here, which is true until now.

------ If she uses EAD she will not be on H4 status and will need valid AP approved in US before she goes out of US in future
Becos, in the application, she said she never worked here, which is true until now.
------- I will wait for the H4 extension approval and then allow her to use EAD. Because with H4 extension she can also get H4 visa stamped in US through DOS and if in future she wants to enter on H4 status she can enter on H4 because she will have H4 visa stamped. One can use EAD who was on H4 and can again enter on H4 status if she has H4 visa stamp in Passport. I will wait for H4 extension as on application she wrote never worked and I will not work till I get the H4 approval. By law she can work with valid EAD that is up to you to decide

2. If she uses EAD prior to H4 extension, will USCIS deny her H4 extension? She has valid AP until Aug.2004.

My wife also was on H4 before and now working on EAD. Still got her H4 valid till the end of next month. She got a valid AP too.

Can we apply for H-4 extension along with my h1 extension?

Please help.

------- She should wait till H4 approval notice AND if she wants be be safe or wants to enter US on H4 in future then better get H4 visa stamp so that she can enter on H4 with valid Visa stamp. It all depends on your personal circumstances and for future safety

2. If she uses EAD prior to H4 extension, will USCIS deny her H4 extension?
---- I don’t think they will deny but that H4 extension will have no meaning if she used EAD before H4 approval
She has valid AP until Aug.2004.
----- She should apply for new AP 6 months advance as back up AP is based on pending I-485 and has nothing to with H4 extension

---- Yes, apply 5-6 months before EAD expiry date so that she gets EAD on time

--------- EAD is based on pending I-485 it has nothing to do with H4
