H4+EAD and Visa Revalidation

My wife is 'working' on a recently approved EAD and has a approved H4 for the next 3 years and a expired Visa Stamp on her passport.
So she is already using her EAD and has a approved AP as well.
Does it make any sense in getting her H4 Stamping done in a consulate while on a Visit to India ?
I am planning to go for H1 Stamping even though I have a approved AP/EAD to have a fallback if 485 gets denied due to any reason.

if she keeps working on EAD, there is no point to get H4.

Since you are maintaining H-1B, only you need to stamp.
