H4-B1 Transfer

Hi,

I am in a strange situation. My wife got H4 stamped in Dec 2006 at Mumbai Consulate. Now her company is ready to move her to USA on B1 visa for some time.

1. Can a person have 2 visas stamp on the passporrt simulataneouly.
2. Say if they reject her B1, would they also cancel her H4 visa stamp.

Any update in this matter would be appreciated.
