H4 auto revalidation on reentry from canada

My wife's H4 approval is from my previous employer and is valid till the end of this year. Her visa has expired last year. Does she need an H4 from my current employer to be eligible for auto revalidation on reentry from canada? We need to go to canada for Canadian PR stamping. Your help is highly appreciated.

---------- what is "auto revalidation "? I know about Automatic Visa Revalidation, if she has valid I-94 and dont apply visa in Canada she can come back to US if trip to Canada or mexico is less that 30 days. I think that trip should be for visit. You are going for Landing or applying PR card of Canada, I dont know what happen in that case because after landing in Canada you will be Permanent resident of Canada and Permanent resident of Canada need US visa stamp. talk to good lawyer
