H4 and EAD

Hi
I have been following the posting and have helped me a lot.

I need advise on the following...Plz help
I am on H4 visa and my wife is on H1.

1.Is it possible for me to obtain an EAD /H1 from Expemt employers and How?

2. Are there consultants or agencies who provide services?

H4 can get EAD only if s/he applied for I-485, otherwise, no EAD is given.
YOu can apply for H1 if you found sponsor.

Can I apply for I-485, is there an eligibility. ( I am an HR training professional)

No eligibility about job duty for I485, but you have to pass LC and I-140 before I485, and your PD must be current to file I485.

Does that mean that I need to find a sponsor first then go about applying for the above process?
Is is not possible to apply EAD on my own behalf?

LC and I-140 need sponsor, therefore you need sponsor to reach I-485 stage.
 
You said that you are on H4. So you are a dependant on a H1 for your H4 status. Have the person holding the H1 apply for LC and then I-140, after which you can apply for your I-485, provided your priority date is current.

1. the current status for EB2 is U (unavailable) for month of sept..will it be availble or Current in OCt...

2.And while it is current or if there are backlogs in the category..I have heard that we can apply for temp EAD till I485 is processed, is it true...

3. Does the H1B holder's sponsor employer have to file LC, isnt it applied and cleared when H1B is being is processed.
