H1Visa getting Expired No Receipt No

Visa issue

My H1B visa getting expired by sep 30 2007.....i applied for extension three weeks before in premium and so far i didnt get my receipt notice no.....does my status will have a problem......my friends said that if you applied before your visa expire then it wont be a problem.....is it true......can anyone help with information it would be great help.....

-many are getting delay in reciepts at this time but if your fee chack has been cashed then on back of the cashed check is stamp with your reciept #, ponch that reciept # online status and will know the status
.....does my status will have a problem......

-----------------That is Correct if H1 extension petition reached USCIS BEFORE your I-94 expiry date
......can anyone help with information it would be great help.....
