Hello,
I have some questions about my current status. If some one can answer those, it wil be a great help. My opt started from June 1st, 2005. Consultant A filed my H1B in June and have received my intial confirmation. I got a project in August from consultant B. Since H1b quota is over for BS students, therefore consultant B cannot file my H1b right now. My questions are:
Can I still work for consultant B while my H1b is in process with consultant A without informing consultant A.
When my H1B arrives with consultant A, can I return to him or transfer that to consultant B.
Will my opt be still valid after my H1b has been approved.

You can work for any as long as your OPT is valid, but once any of H1 is approved your OPT is gone you can work for the sponser who got your H1 approval. From that H1 you can transfer to any company (B).

Guru Thanks for answering my first question. It was a great help. Please if you can clear some of the points stated below I will be really very grateful to you.Thanks in advance.
1. If my H1-b gets approved from the consultant A but i am working with Consultant B and still want to work with consultant B than can I transfer my H1-b from consultant A to Consultant B immediately.
2. If not than what is the minimum requirement that i have to fullfill in order to get my H1b transfer from consultant A to consultant B.
3. I have heard that in order to transfer from consultant A to consultant B i need to have 3 pay stubs of consultant A. How far this is true. If this is true what should be the duration of each pay stub (e.g 2 weeks or 1 month).
What if some how I manage to make these pay stubs during my opt period from Consultant A, than can I transfer to consultant B immeditely after my H1b approval from consultant A arrives.
