H1b Visa stamping

H1B Visa Extension.

Hi ALL

I started working on h1b visa from 15 Nov 2003 from Employer ‘A’ , I got it stamped from India on Jan 10 , 2005 , In June 2005 , I changed my job so transferred/applied for new H1B . I have I-797 valid from 8 Jun 2005 till 8 Jun 2008, But the visa I got stamped has a expiration date of 15 nov 2006. My I-94 is also valid till 15 Nov 2006.

Here is my question:

1. Do I need to apply for extension of visa before 15 nov 2006, though my I-797 says it’s valid till june 2008?

no need to get new H1 stamp. You need new stamp when you enter the US after 11/5/06.
