Hi,

I was working for company A and had H1B visa stamped from company A valid till 30 may 2006 . in between I have switched to company B in Nov 2004.
I am planning to visit india in Nov 2005.

Do I need to get new H1b stamped from company B, or the visa from company A is fine to renter into US while I come back to US in Dec 2005?

Please reply,
Thanks & regards,

@@@ You dont need to have a stamp from Company B.. the Company A visa should be suffice. But always carry that Company B approval letter with you while leaving the country and entering the country for precaution

Thats correct. Make sure you have your comany B approval notice with you (if possible carry also the comapny B offer letter/employement verification letter). At the port of entry you have to show the company B approval with your passport stamping. The officer would give the I-94 expiry date from company B approval notice.

H1B and I-94

One of our firends who got new H1B which is valid until November 2006, but his I-94 is valid until October 2005 only.
How can he revalidate/extend the date on his I-94 which should match the expiration date of his new H1B. will it be any help if he go to canada and show his new H1B and ask for revalidation on his existing 1-94.
Please share if any one of you have experince on such issue.
Thanks
