I am currently working on H1B for employer A. I want to initiate process for H1B transfer to employer B. I have observed that in my I-797(H1B petition) expiration date mentioned was Aug'06. But validity of my visa and I-94 is Aug'07.
1) What happens in this case? Will my transfer be granted without any problem?
2) Since I-797 is expired, do I need to travel to home country and get it stamped?
3) In case new stamping is required, can I get it stamped in Canada?
Please provide information on this.
