H1B Transfer (URGENT)

My employer had filed for my h1 revokal,I found a new employer who is going to file my h1 transfer with in a week.what happens to my status if my old h1 is revoked before i get the approval of my new h1?

If i get a lin no am i in status?
please advise me

Yes. if you get a lin # you are in status. You can also assume that if the H1 application is accepted by INS and until INS explicitly rejects your H1 application, you can work for the new company..
