H1B transfer question related to re-entry

I got a job offer from a company and had a question regarding H1B transfer.

I'm planning on leaving the US for a couple of weeks after I get the approval letter in the name of the new company. In order to come back into the US do I need a new H1B stamp in the name of the new company, or can I come back into the US just using my prior company's H1B visa stamp and the new company's approval letter?

Please advise.

If you have valid H1B sticker in your passport with last employer info, no need to get new H1 Visa stamp you can enter with this stamp and at POE show your new H1 approval and you will get new I-94 till the validity of your approval. When depart US you have to Submit both the I-94 attached (the one is in your PP other came with approval) keep a recent letter from your new employer with you.( show only if asked)
