H1B transfer! Please Help!!

I am working for employer A currently. I have asked for 7 weeks before I join the other company B. Company B is going to apply for my h1b transfer. I am not sure how long that will take (2-4 weeks?). Is it okay to work for company A even though my transfer comes through for Company B?

-------------one can work with new employer B once H1transfer petition Reach the USCIS or once get H1 transfer filing reciept. it may take 3-4 months for H1 Transfer approval notice but if B file through Premium processing then it may approved in 15-20 days after papers reach USCIS.

Is it okay to work for company A even though my transfer comes through for Company B?
------------Yes, if A has not revoked H1 petition by writing to USCIS. why to file H1 Transfer through B if you want to work with A???
