H1B Transfer, need a new stamp?

Hi,

I was working for company 1 and had H1B visa stamped by compnay 1.
I have switched to company 2. Do I need to get new H1b stamped from company 2, or the visa from company 1 (valid till 2007) is fine ?

Will my wife need new H4 stamped from company 2?

----------------- that is fine, no new visa stamp needed as you both will be having valid I-94 till 2007

-------------NO, but if she goes out of US and Visa stamp gets expired she needs to get new Visa stamp based on your H1 transfer notice of 2

*same for you if you go out of US and Visa stamp gets expired you need to get new Visa stamp based on your H1 transfer notice of 2. if you went out of US and the Visa stamp through 1 is still valid then you CAN enter US with valid visa of 1 and at POE you need to show valid visa stamp AND H1 approval notice of 2 and you will get white I-94 till H1 approval notice
