H1B transfer from outside USA

Dear Friends,

I'm currently working for a company A in India which has issued me H1B , I wish to transfer my H1-B to a company B being in India itself .
My Query is :
1. Is such a transfer possible by not even entering USA , but from India itself ? ( I know its possible if i was in US and i change the company ... but me being outside US is it possible ? )
2. If its possible, what specific information i need to take care of , where can i find more information on this ?

US H1B transfer before entering US.

I'm reiternating my earlier query, hope its clear now .

Currently im working in company A in india, this company has issued H1-B for me to work in US as an when the project comes, but since there is not project here for US, i wish to move to company B in india , can i tranfer my H1-B issued to me by company A to company B, so that company B can send me to US on this visa .

1. I wish to know the possibility of transfering the Visa ??

-------------- company B can file H1 for you with USCIS once approved get H1 visa stamp and join B in US if they have job for you.

------- nothing to transfer as you are in India and have not joined A in US.

Form I-824

hi ,

What i read from the document ... i feel the process is bit different if you are first time H1 applicant and if you already have H1 from one organization and willing to have H1 from other organization ... it has a additional form to be filled I - 824 ... any idea about it ???

As you said that this is not transfer ... does that mean that my application will be treated within the H1B quota cap limit ... ??
