H1B transfer-can change spouse H1B to H4 same time

Myself and my husband both are on H1B visa. My husband (H1B valid till 2011) has accepted a new job for which his H1B will be transferred in mid-August. I plan to go on H4 visa and my question is how should I do this:

(1)Should I file my I-539 (COS) along with the H1 transfer papers of my husband?

(2)Or, I will have to file my COS separately. If separately than when should I file I-539 and I assume I will have to use my husband’s old H1B approval documents.

Please provide me some suggestions. If anybody has ever been in this situation please share your experience.

Thanks great guru. I am still wondering that how the whole process will work? As I understand that I will fill my I-539 (COS, H1B to H4 along with the fees) and put the primary form (I-129) and send it to my husband’s new employer so they will send both these application to USCIS.

My other question is: in this case which receipt number will I mention on my I-539.
