Go to consulate early morning with the approved Petition and visa fees DD and employer job offer letter, fill up the Visa forms, take all the original educational degree certificates and be ready to answer if visa officer asks any technical question because they know US has no more jobs for H1 they may ask many questions or may not ask it all depends on your luck and if you have genuine job then I don’t see any problem for first time H1 stamp from Bombay but they will look at degree/transcripts and other experience certificates and may ask about the US company address, how many employee they have so collect this info from employer before visiting consulate for H1b stamp. Also visit US consulate Mumbai website for fees and forms or other instructions.
Good Luck!!!
