h1b revalidation question, form DS156

I am going to file I485 while I140 is pending. In the meantime, I want go abroad. I want apply for h1b revalidation as I have a visa stamp last Nov. and I really do not know how AP will work if I140 is still pending. On DS156 form, a question is "how long do you want to stay in US". What should I say? Should I write down 3 years according to my h1b? But I have filed I485. They may have record of that. If I write down permenant, h1b is temporary visa. Also I think AP takes longer time than h1b revalidation.

Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

I thought concurrent filing started only a few weeks ago.

Anyway U can file for h1 revalidation while 485 is pending. Since it is pending (including I140) your stay is not guaranteed to be permanent.
If you are applying for h1 revalidation then all U can say is that U will stay in US until expiry of h1 visa - right?
