Hi,

Our visa expires this march. My attorney said we can apply only 90 days before the expiry date. But my friends attorney says we can apply 6 months in advance. I am confused.

Can you please tell me when i can start applying for renewal? Thanks much

one CAN apply extension 6 months advance of I-94 expiry date or one can file 10-15 days advance of I-94 expiry date so that extension papers reach USCIS BEFORE I-94 expiry date. your lawyer is giving wrong info.
