Hello,
I am a British Citizen based in the UK. I want to move to the US. I know that the H1-B cap has been reached for this year but I was wondering whether H1-B visas are approved based on citizenship? I mean if I do find a job in the US and the company agrees to process my H1-B, can it be done or would the cap limit affect the processing and would I have to wait until next year? I know that for GCs they have buckets for different countries - I was wondering if the same was the case for H1-B visas. Are there any other options that I could pursue. Any response is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
