H1b owning a Company in USA

Hey Guys,

I am in H1b and wanted to start a company. Read that I should have a GC or US Citizen to run the business. My question is

(1) Can I register the company under my name (I am in h1b). Will that affect my GC processing or is it illegal?

(2) I understand that I cannot work for that company. I have a GC friend who will be managing the company.

Please let me know.

(2) I understand that I cannot work for that company. You can, if you have H1 on that company. I have a GC friend who will be managing the company. that works

How about wife(who is on H1) working for company owned by me? Will it afect green cad processing for me or her..What are the impacts??
