Please help with my situation here.

I am on F1 visa nad working with a company on OPT (Optional Practical Training). I don't have F1 visa stamped on my passport because I changed it from H4 to F1 while I was in US. Bottom line is then when I travel to India I need a visa stamp on my passport.

I also have received my H1-B approval which starts on Oct 1st, so that means my current F1 ends on Sept, 30th. I want to travel to India in Aug and back in Sept first wk. My questions are:

1. When I go for visa stamping in Mid August what visa will get stamped F1 (which ends on Sept 30th) or H1-B (which starts on Oct 1st). I would definately want to get H1-B stamped. But I am not sure if I can get it.

2. Lets say I get H1-B stamped (lets assume), then what will be the status on I-94 when I come to the US.

3. Last but not the least, what are the chances of getting F1 rejected because just 45 days will be left of its validity. If it gets reject then they may ask me to wait till I'll eligible to get H1B stamped, which could be ensd of sept, but this will mess up my vacatiopn and work schedule.

I can't postpone the visit because of vacation issues at my work. Thanks for your help in advance

You should plan to return in Sept 2/3/4th week, instead of first. You can get a H1 stamp 30 days prior to start date. So get it in Sept instead of August.
You dont have a valid visa stamp in passport. You dont have any options.
