H1b Or Ead?

Hi,
Ifiled my I-485 8 months back have my EAD and sending it for renewal now. My 6years turn H1B is expiring on Nov 15th and I am planning to file 7th year extension so that if there is any delay in EAD, I will not be out of project.

Can I some one post the pros & cons of going for H1B.

File for 7th year H1 extension with the receipt of I-485 pending. H1 status has advantages if anything goes wrong with I-485, you can have valid EAD and have 7th year H1. having EAD and using EAD are different matter
