H1B Laid Off Offer frm another company

Hi,

I am on HIB visa and my employment is getting terminated this month 20th.The last date on payroll is November 30th.I am expecting an offer from another company B with start date as December 15th.Will Company B able to file a H1B transfer without any issues.Is there any grace period?
 
B does not have to wait till 15th to file the transfer, they should do it now. But if they wait or if you do not have the offer in hand yet, there may be issues because you will not have current pay stubs in Dec.
 
Hi,

I am still waiting on the offer from company B.I should be receiving the offer by November 30th and by the time the company starts filing H1B transfer it would be December 2nd week.I will have my last paystub on November30th.These 2 weeks i would be out of status and what are the chances of the H1B getting approved.
