H1B Extension Question

I filed for my first 3 yr extension on May 22. My current H1B expires August1. Yesterday my lawyer called, beacouse my boss forgot to sign the LCA. The lawyer said he'll fax the signed LCA to the immigration officer. My 1st question is, do you think it is going to be a problem? 2nd Q: In this case should I expect a decision soon, and what happens to my husbands H4 extension, do they aprove both extensions simultaniously, or he has to wait.
We are both in USA now.

This will not create any problem.
usually h1/h4 will get approved at the same time.
