I am a H1 B holder. My H1B expiration date is Aug 2006. I am currently with company A. The company has filed regular labor certification for me and is pending.
If i get laid of during my last year of H1B, and assuming i get a job with company B, can i apply for H1B extension (7th year) based on the previous employer's (Company A) labor certification. [Assuming i have a copy of the LC filing receipt].
