H1B / EAD / Job Change - Please help

Hello,

I have an expired 6-year H1B. My I-140 has not been approved yet, so my employer filed for an extension until I-140 gets approved. They are planning to file another extension after the I-140 has been approved.

I am currently waiting for my EAD through my marriage and I have received a very good job offer. Can the new employer apply for an H1B while I wait for my EAD, even after 6 years of working with an H1B?

You should be able to transfer as long as your current employer won't withdraw LC which is over 365 days old.

I am going to be in the same boat as you are. Can you please share following information
when did you apply for your EAD thrrough marriage? Also, what is your District office?
