H1B - does it require salary of $60,000?

Has anyone been approved with a salary of less than $60,000?

I see a question in the LCA that asks if the employee will make over 60,000 or has a masters degree, then they are "exempt" Does that mean for the cap?

Probably you are talking about H1 dependent employers.

Yes, my salary was less than $60,000 when I got my visa, so that should not be a problem.

When H1 dependent employers apply for H-1B, they need to fullfil some requirement. $60000 and master degree make them exempt from following the requirement set by USCIS.

if you need to know what falls in H1 dependent employer, search it on google.

It all depends on the size of your company and how many H1 employees the company has.
