H1B 7th yr extension and Canadian PR

I am planning to go for my 7th yr extension to Toronto and recently my company filed for my I-140. The lawyers mentioned that since my I-140 has been filed I need to say "Yes" next to the question that says an immigrant petition has been filed. Will I have any issues since I have a Canadian PR and will this raise any questions from the US H1B officers? Has anyone done this?

If they ask what are your intentions are how is it best to go about it? Since h1b is dual intent they shouldn't have issues I would think

Maybe my question wasn't phrased the right way but I was looking for people who had actually done it. On paper it looks fine but was going for revalidation.

Hence the statement "Has anyone done this?" and how to answer if they say what are your intentions are? When I first landed in Canada and went for my stamping the VO specifically asked me what my intentions were and now that my I-140 is filed I wanted to find out if that would change how the VO would view an applicant with PR and H1B with I-140 and not having moved to canada yet.

--------------NO, H1 has nothing to do with your Canada PR
If they ask what are your intentions are how is it best to go about it?
------------ when get the US GC I will work and stay in US only
Since h1b is dual intent they shouldn't have issues
-----no problems
I would think
