Hi,
My sister's husband has got an H1 approval from a US company. He has taken an interview appointment in Dubai Consulate. My sister just got her US citizenship. She has not yet filed for her husband. Now that she has got her citizenship she will file for him after his interview. He has filled up her status as US citizen in the DS 156 form. Someone told us that this can have a negative effect during the interview as the visa officer must be convinced that he is going to leave US after 3 years.
Can someone suggest if this is true. And if yes how should it be tackled during the interview.
Thanks
