H1 visa status

Hello Everyone,

I got my visa stamped in the month of October 2001 and it\'s valid till January 2004.

But the problem is, I have not travelled on that visa till date. I am wondering if it is still valid, as i came to know that if u have not used ur visa for 6 months after stamping it get expired.

Pls help me as i am planning to travel to US soon.

Wrong info.

Visa does not expire. But the officer at POE might ask why you did not come before. A letter from your employer might help.

We are in the same state. The employer says they can call from POE if they want to know. There is no need of a letter. What should we do?
