i have an exempt / academic h1, work for a univ., but the I-94 was issued for less than 1 yr and is valid till apr 07. Will this be an issue during stamping? My employer will file for 2 yr extension in nov. but my appt at toronto is before that day. Please suggest. This is my first h1 ( i was on f1 opt before). Thanks.

H1 visa stamping with I-94 issued < 1yr

univ applied for H1 in april'06 and it was approved in june till april'07, i was in OPT status before that. so my approval notice and i-94 have dates of approval from june'06 to apr'07.
will this duration be a deterrent to getting a successful visa stamping?
