H1 -- Tricky question please help

Hello

I am on H1B, my Visa stamp is expiring on July 5th, 2009. My I-94 card says I am good until July 5th, 2009. I just got my H1B work permit renewed until March 2010.

I need to travel to India for 10 days due to family emergencies. Can someone please advice, If I can travel or not? I am thinking of travelling on June 15th and coming back on 25th June.

Are there any risks , will the immigration department at the airport will cause any problems?

-------------------you have Valid H1 Visa stamp in passport till July 5th, 2009 and you have I-94 valid till July 5th, 2009.

------------------------ You can travel. when enter US at POE show the valid H1 visa stamp AND H1 extension approval notice you will get New White I-94 till your H1 extension approval notice that is March 2010. Check the I-94 date at POE if mistake point it to the officer. Keep your employer letter with you and show only if asked.
