H1 transfer and Extension

My H1 transfer was approved in feb 2004. It has been more than 6 weeks but i and my employer haven't received approval notice yet. I want to go out of country to stamp my passport for H1 Visa. Can i go without approval notice.? how long does it take to have duplicate copy from INS?

Please help me.

You cannot go out without the approval notice. If it has been more than 15 days call the customer service number and initiate a case referral.

Thanks for the reply. Really appriciate that. I call them and they always says that apply for the duplicate. If we apply for duplicate approval notice,which takes about 10 months to process. Is there any premium processing for that in which case we pay $1000 or some thing and get it done? please help me.

Ask Lawyer to initiate a case referral. If the approval notice was returned to USCIS they should be able to resend it. Maybe lawyer got the approval.

Can you guys tell me what are the prcedures to make a H1 trasfer from Company A to Company B ? What are the forms and fees involved ? Is there a time frame since my last working day with company A ? THANKS IN ADVANCE
