Applying H4 visa while having H1

Hi,

My wife is having valid H1B visa. We both are having H1 visa from the same company. She is in India, i am in US now. Now we are planning to apply for H4 visa at chennai consulate.

If she goes for H4, is there any possiblity consulate will cancle exiting H1?

Will they give H4 visa without canceling H1?

Is there any possibility to reject H4 because she is having H1 from the same employer i got my H1 and she got her H1 stamped by this year Aug.

any one encounter the same problem, could you please reply me.

------------ if she has H1 visa stamp and not working in US on H1 and is in India she can apply H4 visa stamp based on YOUR H1 status

------------- I dont know if that can create problems(it should not, they may ask few questions about the company and she need to answer honestly IF they ask)
