H1 to H4 (special case)

Hi,
My 6th of H1B year expires in July 2004. My fiance is on a H1B also, and she has 5 years left on her VISA. If I convert my status from H1B to H4 on my wife's visa (assuming we get married soon :) will I be able to stay in the US even after my 6 yrs are up on the H1B ?

Nope, the USCIS takes the position that 6 years is for H1B and H4 together. Time spent on H4 counts towards the six year limit.
