H1 stamping

I am in the US now and would get my H1 visa very soon. My F1 visa is from Delhi consulate. Now, do i have to go back to Delhi to get my Visa stamped or I can i get it stamped from Canada/Mexico or can it be done in US itself

Can goto Canda/Mexico or Delhi...

Not possible in US. But after getting the approval can start working and can get it stamped within a year in canada or mexico. beyond 1 year have to go to home country for stamping.

What you are saying is that after switching from F1 to H1, you have to go to Mexico or Canada within 1 year else you have to go home?!

Have I understood you correctly?
