H1 pending while 485 approved

485 approved while H1 pending

I applied for H1 extention in the early of December, 2004, and I am working with the receipt notice of my H1 application. My initial H1 was expired in the middle of December.

Just recently, my 485 has been approved while my H1 extention application is still pending.

In this case what will happen with my H1 extention application?
Should I need to tell my employer?

My H1 was also pending during my 485 but after 15 days of my 485 approval, I got my H1B 7th extension approved.
I am also not sure if i need to worry about this.

why do u need H1 now? USCIS 'should' reject H1 extension as ur 485 is approved.

I definately don't need H1, but my employer has no idea about my 485. I wonder I should wait until I hear about my H1 or I need to tell my employer right now.

--- if I-485 is approved and got passport stamp inform the employer and file form I-9 with HR.
