H1 help....

I was working with a company in Bangalore which got my B1/B2 stamped. Its valid till 2010 though I did not travel to US. Again in 2006, I applied for a H1 visa through a consultant. For some personal reasons, I could not travel to US again and asked for extension. Now its almost a year and he wants me to come though I am not in a position to go before Feb/Mar 2008. He is putting a pressure by saying he would get it canceled. I want to know if this is canceled, does this affect somehow if I apply for H1 again sometime in future?
I hold a bachelors degree from IIT, in case that helps anyways....

Any help would be highly appreciated.
 
You can have several approved h1 not used. no problem. You can go for more, no problem. But you are taking away other's opportunities.
